The bigger, more feature-rich upgrade to the Hyundai Kona Electric was announced just before Christmas last year when the design was officially unveiled. The new design is expected to be bigger in most dimensions when compared to the current Kona Electric. The inside of the new Kona Electric is also roomier. The new Kona Electric also comes with bi-directional charging thanks to its onboard system. The regeneration system on the Kona Electric will automatically adjust the amount of regenerative braking based on information from the traffic flow ahead.
