According to the official website of the Autonomous Administration, "the aid convoy sent by the people of Sulaymaniyah to the earthquake-affected people in al-Shahba, Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Ashrafiya, is still awaiting approval from the Damascus government at al-Tayha crossing on its 6th day in a row." The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria received, 6 days ago, 25 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid provided by the people of Sulaymaniyah to those affected by the earthquake. In a humanitarian response, the Autonomous Administration facilitated the transit of trucks and delivered them to the Al-Tayha crossing, it is still awaiting approval from the other side to enter them. Although the Autonomous Administration called, in many of its statements, not to politicize the humanitarian side, other parties continue to politicize it, rejecting aid. The Damascus government had seized 50% of the aid that the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria sent to the affected people in the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh and al-Shahba neighborhoods in Aleppo, consisting of 100 tanks of oil derivatives, on February 15, after it stopped at the crossing for the same reasons for 9 days.
