Alcatraz AI has partnered with Axis Communications, a Sweden-based video surveillance specialist, which will promote Alcatraz’s The Rock access control solution through its Axis Technology Integration Partner program. The companies have worked together to enable interoperability between their solutions, with The Rock being configured for communications with Axis’s access control management software. For example, if the Rock detects an incidence of tailgating, it can send an alert to the Axis system, which will notify administrators. “We are thrilled to have Alcatraz AI join our Axis Technology Integration Partner Program,” commented Axis Communications Business Development Manager Drew Pacino. In announcing the Axis partnership, Alcatraz emphasized that the companies combined solutions offer an access control system that improves efficiency and effectiveness for both administrators and end users.
