The Australia and New Zealand Driverless Vehicle Initiative (ADVI) Summit, will be in town on October 19. ADVI executive director Rita Excell said the regional NSW component would allow public participation and to experience the benefits of driverless technology in regional areas. There will be car-to-car autonomous emergency braking and lane support systems demonstrations and will be held at Transport for NSW's Future Mobility Testing Centre at Cudal - part of the Cudal road safety precinct. Activities are expected to firm up processes for future testing and certification for driverless vehicle technology.
