Autonomous Trucks
Autonomous vehicles are helping build neighborhoodsThe next house you live in might be built by robots, at least, partially. You’ve heard all about autonomous vehicles and that idea is also hitting construction sites. Florida excavation company Tomahawk is planning to use dump trucks that can drive themselves to help build a neighborhood in Naples. For now, autonomous construction equipment is expected to be used primarily for land clearing and in dangerous environments like mines. The semi-self-driving dump trucks are scheduled to begin working on the Florida neighborhood this summer.
