DECATUR — Weeks before thousands of visitors prepared to descend on the so-called "Super Bowl of Agriculture," a lone camper parked quietly at the Farm Progress Show grounds. By second week in August, there were trucks, trucks, and more trucks arriving to deliver equipment and materials for the 90-acre show. While the parade of vintage tractors from Farmer City to Decatur on Monday offered plenty of nostalgia, the Farm Progress Show generally features the latest in agricultural technology. “Thousands of attendees and exhibitors attend Farm Progress Show, so it’s the perfect time and place to showcase the versatility and usefulness of Illinois soy,” said ISA Chairman Ron Kindred.
