Autotalks, Hyundai Mobis team on V2X modules Business news | August 28, 2023 By Nick FlahertyIsraeli chip designer Autotalks is working with Hyundai Mobis to develop MTCU (Multi-functional Telematics Control Unit) connectivity modules. The first generation MTCU from Hyundai Mobis, the sixth largest global automotive supplier, supports Day-1 V2X services in all geographies using the Autotalks V2X chipset. This will enable car manufacturers to offer advanced safety applications based on V2X communication. The Gen2 MTCU module enables a range of use-cases from basic Day-1 to advanced Day-2 V2X applications. “By using Autotalks’ advanced chipsets and Hyundai Mobis’ automotive safety expertise, we’re poised to help automakers realize the full potential of V2X technology.
