At present, the service centre is diligently investigating the issue, and I am eagerly awaiting an update once more information becomes available. Also on another note, BMW releases software updates for the i4 very frequently, there have been almost 6 updates in the last 10 months. Did you receive it as an OTA update or had to go to the service centre to get it done? As a Tesla user, I have never been to a service centre to get or complete an OTA update. So, it is BMW’s duty to provide you with OTA updates as promised and not ask you to go to a service centre.
