Tihidi: A cattle-laden van was seized and 11 calves were rescued at Pirhat Bazaar on Bhadrak-Chandbali road in Bhadrak district, late Friday night. As per the report, Bajrang Dal activists got information about cattle smuggling in the vehicle bearing registration number (OR-22-0979). The cattle-laden vehicle was going to Bhadrak. Acting on the complaint by an activist of Bajrang Dal, police registered a case (No-122/23) and started an investigation in this regard. The rescued calves were shifted to a cow-shelter nearby.
