Connected Car
Cut to 2022, cars are not just mere vehicles for transportation but are designed to offer the perfect experience to drivers and passengers. This shift requires large amounts of data to be stored and processed from 3D maps, operating system software, human-machine interface (HMI), and user data. With various types, sizes and speed of data, the automotive industry must not make storage an afterthought. These mini-moving data centers drive the need for a new generation of storage infrastructure for better connectivity and ADAS features. But for these “smart” cars to be successful, complex data systems will have to interact.
