There’s quite a lot of misinformation and disinformation — deliberate misinformation — about electric vehicles online. Gas-powered cars are three times less efficient than electric vehicles. Therefore, it will be advantageous to stop producing them when the world has transitioned to clean, renewable energy, energy storage and electric vehicles. It’s not just switching to electric vehicles but providing the extra electricity needed for those electric vehicles. Considering how many health problems and premature human deaths are caused by fossil-fueled vehicles and how much they contribute to climate change, anything that delays the switch to electric vehicles is part of the problem.
