Autonomous Vehicle News
The very first trial of cellular autonomous vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technology is currently being tested in the West Midlands in the UK. The platform is then using mobile technologies with in-vehicle computer systems to create safe and reliable mobility services. By doing so, it will allow to digital connect road users with live and targeted updates from road operators so they are always informed of the latest traffic news. In time, this project has for goal to connect vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, and infrastructure in a seamless digital transport ecosystem. Furthermore, the project is also supported by the UK Government Centre for Connected and Automated Vehicles (CCAV) and the Midlands Future Mobility (MFM) consortium.
