Five PHCs in AP get national recognition for best healthcare

Indira Nagar UPHC at Mangalagiri in Guntur district got 96.2 per cent marks and became the first health centre in Andhra Pradesh to get the NQAS certification. The Kendrika UPHC in the NTR district scored 88.2 per cent marks to get NQAS certification. Krishna Babu said these health centres had met rigorous criteria and demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare service to the community. NQAS certification is given to PHCs and UPHCs in recognition of their excellence in healthcare delivery, patient safety and continuous quality improvement. It signifies the commitment of these centres towards providing accessible, equitable and high-quality healthcare services to the community.
