Waabi, a newly launched autonomous vehicle startup, has raised $83.5 million in a Series A led by Khosla Ventures , with support from investors including Uber Radical Ventures and OMERS Ventures . Waabi is focusing on automating long-haul trucks. The Toronto-based company was founded by Raquel Urtasun, an AI veteran and University of Toronto professor who was previously head of R&D for Uber's self-driving vehicle initiative.
