Unlike its role as an armored reconnaissance vehicle in the French armed forces, the AMX-10RC will serve as an anti-tank system for Ukrainian troops. French army AMX-10RCR improved version of the AMX-10RC. The AMX-10RCR is fitted with new add-on armor composed of steel plates which provide additional protection against small arms fire and anti-tank ammunition.
