Freeland meets with auto tech leaders in Windsor-Essex

Freeland met up with leaders and workers of the manufacturing and technology company Reko Automation in Lakeshore, Ont. The purpose for the visit, according to Freeland, was to look at how Canada, specifically Windsor, can secure its share of the industrial economy. The machine is made, designed and manufactured at the Lakeshore Reko facility. Freeland said businesses like Reko Automation are the kind of operations the federal government is looking to further develop. Freeland said Windsor's proximity to the United States will play a key role in growing the industrial economy in Canada.
