Germany could soon witness autonomous vehicles rolling on its streets as the lawmakers in the nation have approved new rules for self-driving cars in the lower house of the parliament. If approved, it would give birth to the world’s first legal framework for integrating autonomous vehicles in regular traffic, according to the German government. Along with this, the bill has highlighted that it would allow driverless shuttle busses as well as self-driving public transport buses to be put into use by 2022. They would also permit autonomous goods transport vehicles on set routes.
