Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India presented awards to women WASH champions who spearheaded the ODF Plus movement in their villages. Harjinder Kaur, Sarpanch of Village Peroshah, Gurdaspur was felicitated for her efforts in making the village ODF plus model. Recently, Peroshah village was declared a model ODF Plus village for fulfilling the criteria stipulated in the Swachh Bharat Mission-Grameen (SBM-G, Phase II) guidelines. Punjab's Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa congratulated the residents of Peroshah village for achieving this feat. In yet another achievement to name of Punjab Govt, Peroshah village of Gurdaspur Dist.
