Joe franchise, but if it gives us Henry Golding looking intense while wielding a katana in the rain, it's hard to get mad about it. Snake Eyes is the origin story for the super-mysterious eponymous commando and martial arts master of the G.I. Golding (Crazy Rich Asians, A Simple Favor) replaces Ray "Darth Maul" Park, who played the (silent) role in the previous G.I. He also says some words with his actual mouth at one point, which is definitely something new for the famously mute fellow. Snake Eyes is out on July 23, in actual theaters.
