The global automotive industry experienced a 29% rise in company filings mentions of robotics in Q2 2023 compared with the previous quarter, with the highest share accounted for by Tata Motors with 500% year-on-year increase, according to GlobalData’s analysis of over 86 automotive company filings. GlobalData’s Automotive Predictions 2022 – Thematic Research report helps get a detailed understanding of how key themes such as connected vehicles, shared mobility and cybersecurity impact the automotive industry. Of the top leading companies in the automotive industry, Tata Motors had the greatest increase in references for robotics in Q2 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 18 robotics-related sentences in the company's filings - 0.1% of all sentences - and an increase of 500% in Q2 2023 compared with Q2 2022. The overall index for robotics in Q2 2023 was 92.
