SolarEdge Technologies Ltd., a specialist in smart energy technologies, has announced the launch of a management system for solar grid-connected electric vehicles (EVs) for the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector. Further expanding SolarEdge’s growing range of C&I products and software, the new software system manages and optimizes the EV charging process in locations where dynamic charging management is required and accounted for. Works with technology developed by EV Management System Vivo Energy (“Vivo”), a start-up company specializing in EV charging optimization and management software, in which SolarEdge is an investor. To advance the field of smart energy, SolarEdge targets a wide range of energy market segments through its photovoltaic, storage, EV charging, battery, EV powertrain and grid of service solutions. This funding round will allow the company to continue on its mission and make its innovative EV charging platform accessible to a wider audience.
