Michigan State University has tapped the state labor department's former strategic policy director to head up its mobility department. Judd Herzer, 40, took on the newly created role of director for MSU Mobility earlier this month, the university announced Monday. The fast-growing mobility department has 41 employees, not including graduate students. "It's an honor to now serve as the mobility director for MSU and be in a position to help the university, state and industry leap into the new era of mobility." Herzer is also a licensed attorney with a JD from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and an undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University.
