Leading European farm machinery manufacturer Amazone will start testing its high-tech UX 5201 SmartSprayer trailed spot-spraying unit this spring. Claas Harvest Centre product specialist for Amazone Joshua Patrick expects the SmartSprayer technology will become commercially available in Australia in the coming years. Mr Patrick said spot-spraying technology could significantly reduce spraying costs and the amount of chemical entering the environment.
