In January this year Lucy McCann went on a night out with Allesha Gregory, Olivia Swarbrick and Eloise Hitchen. She grabbed Miss Swarbrick by the neck and squeezed it. The others became involved but McCann continued to attack bit Miss Hitchen and struck Miss Gregory causing her to suffer a burst lip. Julian Goode, prosecuting, revealing what the impact on the victims had been, said: “‘Miss Swarbrick says ‘her behaviour scared me.’ Miss Hitchen described the incident as having concerned her. “You have abstained from drugs and alcohol since that night.”She suspended a sentence of 12 months for a year and ordered McCann to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
