BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a person of interest connected to multiple vehicle break-ins early Friday morning. Helmsdale Drive and Cobblestone Lane within the subdivisions off Perrowville Road (Forest) were areas with cases. If you are a resident in the area and own cameras, you are asked to check your recordings between the hours of 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. and contact the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office with any information regarding footage. Anyone with helpful tips can contact 540-586-7827 or Central Virginia Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900. According to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, those who submit through Crime Stoppers remain anonymous and can receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
