Polestar has announced a partnership with Mobileye to incorporate their Chauffeur autonomous driving technology into the Polestar 4. Mobileye’s Chauffeur technology, expected to roll out in the coming years, is expected to provide hands-free, point-to-point autonomous driving on highways, coupled with eyes-on automated driving for diverse environments. “Our collaboration with Mobileye represents a monumental stride towards innovation in our Polestar 4 electric performance SUV coupé. Empowering our customers with the option of autonomous driving means that future journeys can be truly remarkable,” said Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar. While the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 are yet to launch, the company has seen quiet success with the Polestar 2.
