SOUTH Australian-born automotive electronics company Redarc is accelerating its global reach by first appointing a president based in the US and then expanding its audience in industries including defence and transport. The appointment of US-based Peter Favilla as president of mobile power and connected vehicles reflects the subtle diversification of Redarc. The company’s owner and managing director, Anthony Kittel, told GoAutoNews Premium in an interview that the essence of Redarc remained solidly with its core 4WD and leisure-centric customers but there was a very large market in areas such as defence in which Redarc had already met with success. “The defence business started in 2015 and is growing strongly.
