SYNDEY -- Anglo-Australian miner Rio Tinto is moving decarbonization forward with plans to electrify trucks as part of a $7.5 billion plan to cut greenhouse gas emissions output by half compared with 2018 by 2030. Rio Tinto's operations in western Australia's Pilbara region, the country's main iron ore-producing area, will provide a test ground for the shift.
