Waymo, Alphabet.Inc’s multi-billion-dollar bet on self-driving cars and trucks is removing the human safety drivers from its robotaxi test fleet in Los Angeles. This is the joint-venture autonomous technology startup in October 2022. Even though, Waymo is one of the most well-funded autonomous technology programmes. Following a rigorous cycle of validation and safety readiness evaluation, @Waymo is starting fully-autonomous (no human driver) testing in LA.
