Electric car giant Tesla is reportedly on a hiring drive wherein it is willing to pay between $18 to $48 per hour to its EV test drivers. This is not the first time that Tesla is hiring for test drivers. It has hired test drivers in the past. Tesla, however, also relies on data from Tesla owners to help test software including its beta Full Self-Driving program, in real time. Tesla test drivers will be required to drive Teslas that have been outfitted with a series of sensors, John Bernal, a former test driver for the automaker, previously told Insider.
