Texas-based Tesla has issued a recall for more than 350,000 of its cars after federal regulators said certain models with so-called “self-driving” technology could cause traffic accidents, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Federal regulators found problems with the Full Self-Driving Beta software included in the vehicles. The proposed fix from Tesla involves an over-the-air software update, causing Elon Musk, the automaker's CEO, to tweet: "The word 'recall' for an over-the-air software update is anachronistic and just flat wrong!" Tesla owners can also call the company’s customer service line (877-798-3752) and give the recall number, which is SB-23-00-001. Tesla told the NHTSA it will release a free over-the-air update, meaning it will update the car wirelessly.
