Tesla Inc. plans to participate in this year's IAA Mobility show in Munich, Automobilwoche, the German affiliate of Automotive News, reported on Friday. Tesla will present its electric vehicles in the open air at Munich's Königsplatz, AMW said. Whether Tesla will offer test drives at the trade fair is uncertain. While several Asian manufacturers have already confirmed their attendance, participation from some well-known automaking groups is less certain. Tesla, which turns 20 this summer, has helped popularize electric cars, but like other western brands is facing pressure from Chinese automakers.
