This was confirmed by Leon Theron, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Toyota South Africa. The design of the new Fortuner takes inspiration from the Tacoma pick-up truck which was recently revealed. The design of the doors, A, B and C pillars with window sills remains the same as the outgoing model. The new Fortuner will also get Toyota’s 4x4 system with a low transfer case.The price for the new Fortuner is expected to start from Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).
