In 2022, Sharjah Airport’s passenger traffic grew 84.73 per cent to over 13 million passengers, reaching closer to the pre-pandemic level of 13.6 million in 2019. “We anticipate a further five per cent increase (in passenger traffic by end of this year,” said Ali Salim Al Midfa, chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority.
