CHARLOTTE — Police say a teenager could be connected to more than half a dozen car thefts across the Charlotte area. Inside the stolen car, investigators found a Bojangles receipt, so they decided to pay the restaurant a visit. Stolen Kias, Hyundais across Charlotte The drop-off spots where all of the stolen cars were found were all in the same area. “It’s honestly terrible.”The warrant says police found the teen in another stolen car last year, and his cell phone connected to the car’s Bluetooth. Now, detectives want access to his phone to see if it was connected to those other stolen cars too.
