Image Recognition
It is something that has been an option for the Google Assistant for a few years now, albeit intermittently. As a consequence, if you want to find what appears on your screen, you need to take a screenshot and share it with Google Lens. The Google Assistant has now started showing, first on the Pixels, a permanent button to Find what’s on the screen in Google Lens. Google’s image recognition has been around for a long time, from Google Goggles we went to Now on Tap, but after the death of Google Now the system was relegated to Google Assistant. So far, the Google Assistant changes quite a bit if you use it on a Google Pixel or any other Android mobile.
