A Chicago resident has been charged June 2022 with one count of vehicle theft conspiracy after an investigation connected him to a located and recovered abandoned Hyundai Santa Fe that had been carjacked in Mount Prospect in March 2022.\nPolice officers from Mount Prospect responded about 11:02 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 to a report of an aggravated vehicular hijacking in the block of 1800 North Burning Bush Lane in Mount Prospect.\nThe Hyundai Santa Fe was last seen headed northbound on Burning Bush Lane toward Old Willow Road/Seminole Lane.\nThe offenders should be considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached, according to the Mount Prospect Police Department.\nAnyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call the Mount Prospect Police Department Investigations Section at 847-870-5654.
