Freeland met up with leaders and workers of the manufacturing and technology company Reko Automation in Lakeshore, Ont.\nThe purpose for the visit, according to Freeland, was to look at how Canada, specifically Windsor, can secure its share of the industrial economy.\nThe machine is made, designed and manufactured at the Lakeshore Reko facility.\nFreeland said businesses like Reko Automation are the kind of operations the federal government is looking to further develop.\nFreeland said Windsor's proximity to the United States will play a key role in growing the industrial economy in Canada.
