AGX GP is a new anti-gravity <b>racer</b> launching on PC later this year | Traxion.GG

With WipEout and F-Zero lying dormant, there’s room in the genre for new futuristic franchises. On Switch 2, FAST Fusion is Nintendo’s answer to F-Zero, while RedOut 2 is a worthy WipEout alternative on PC and consoles.

Later this year, futuristic racing fans have another anti-gravity racer to look forward to in the form of AGX GP.

First announced in January, AGX GP is described as a “heart-thumpingly fast” anti-gravity racer that has been in development for over four years by Typ1 Games.

A new trailer released during the Future Games Show at Summer Game Fest showcases its blistering sense of speed and space-themed tracks filled with loops, banked turns and a clean visual style.

It also demonstrates the game’s “ability-focused gameplay” inspired by titles such as Neon White and Ghostrunner. During races, the ships can perform up to five special abilities, including boosts and slams, while jumps and dashes let you avoid obstacles.
