Applied Intuition is expanding its physical AI software from 18 of the top 20 global vehicle makers into heavy transport, defence and industrial operations Although Applied Intuition supplies software to 18 of the world’s 20 largest vehicle makers, few drivers recognise the business behind the screen.

“Our ambition is to help bring intelligence to a billion machines and Dana is the platform we built to make that possible,” Qasar Younis, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Applied Intuition, says.

Software-defined vehicle expansion Applied Intuition began operations in 2017 as a simulation specialist, providing automotive manufacturers with virtual testing environments for advanced driver-assistance systems and autonomous driving.

Heavy industry and defence operations Beyond passenger transport, the business is establishing a substantial second pillar across national defence and heavy industry.

To deliver the project locally, Applied Intuition established an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and partnered with Echelon to introduce the platform into ports, mines, agricultural sites and robotaxis.
