In 1986, Poltrona Frau put this concept to the test on the Lancia Thema 8.32, the Ferrari-powered saloon that would mark the beginning of its venture into the automotive world.

Forty years on, that story returns to Turin, where the brand was founded in 1912.

From 11 September to 11 October, MAUTO – the National Automobile Museum – retraces this journey with ‘Abitare l’automobile.

Sketches, material samples, prototypes and documents trace the journey from an initial idea to industrial production.

A timeline simultaneously traces the evolution of In Motion, from its first collaboration with Lancia to its subsequent ventures in the world of mobility.
