Washington — A survey on the most critical issues facing the trucking industry is now open.

Conducted annually by the American Transportation Research Institute – the research arm of the American Trucking Associations, the survey asks respondents to rank their top three issues from a list of 27.

The list includes: Federal hours-of-service rules Safe truck parking Autonomous trucks Fraud related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s electronic logging device mandate Respondents can also submit concerns not included on the list.

The deadline for completing the survey is Oct. 2.

Results are slated to be released Oct. 18 during the 2026 ATA Management Conference and Exhibition in Charlotte, NC.
