Chinese automakers have invested in vehicle and parts manufacturing in more than 80 countries and regions, and Chinese vehicles are now sold in over 200 countries and regions, offering global consumers a rich choice of high-quality, affordable products, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Hao noted that the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry chain is long and broad, spanning vehicle manufacturing, parts, automotive chips and industrial software.

On the other, domestic automakers are encouraged to learn from international best practices, enhance independent innovation and competitiveness, and take Chinese technology and brands to the global market.

Hao also stressed that cross-regional and cross-market development of intelligent connected new energy vehicles requires unified global standards, regulations and coordinated governance.
