Clark has launched a range of electric high-lift pallet trucks fitted with lithium-ion technology, following the introduction of its electric low-lift pallet trucks. The six new models offer load capacities from 1200 to 1600kg for pallet transport and for storage and retrieval operations in industry, retail and logistics, and can be configured to suit different customer requirements. Five manoeuvrable walk-behind models are available, along with a variant fitted with a fold-out driver’s platform for longer transport distances. For use on uneven surfaces or ramps, Clark offers the high-lift trucks with an initial lift function, which provides additional ground clearance and enables double-deck transport of two loads at once. A PIN code activation system is available as an option on some models for controlled access. All models in the series come with proportional lift as standard for sensitive lifting and lowering, allowing precise positioning at any lift height. The BST12E, with a load capacity of 1200kg, is an entry-level model for light, occasional stacking and transport tasks. Its compact design and small turning radius allow it to be manoeuvred in confined spaces, while the slim design gives visibility of the load and fork tines. The truck features intuitive controls for left- and right-handed operators, an electromagnetic parking brake and a side-shifted tiller that increases the safety distance from the vehicle. Clark says easily accessible components reduce service times, and an integrated deep-discharge protection system protects the lithium-ion battery. The BST12 and BST12i walk-behind models are designed for daily use in warehouses, production facilities and goods distribution centres. The BST12 is configured for standard pallet transport and storage and retrieval, while the BST12i features an initial lift that increases ground clearance for ramps and uneven floors and enables double-deck transport of two pallets, with a total load capacity of up to 1200kg.
