The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, SSP Traffic, RTO Kashmir, Chief Engineer KPDCL and Executive Engineers of R&B, besides other officers concerned.
He also directed SSCL for the completion of 72 bus stops under Module-A by October 31.
The Divisional Commissioner fixed fresh timelines for the departments concerned to achieve tangible progress.
He directed SSCL and SSP Traffic to implement stop-line interventions at identified junctions within 10 days.
He further directed Commissioner SSCL to hand over the control room to the traffic police for augmenting the deployment of traffic personnel to monitor the traffic system.
