According to the 2025 Forbes Research High Net Worth Survey, wealthy individuals planning to buy a luxury vehicle expect to spend an average of $209,000, more than $83,000 higher than in 2024. The survey also found that 87 percent are more likely to purchase a luxury vehicle if it offers advanced driver-assistance systems or autonomous driving capabilities, while 76 percent prioritize brand prestige when purchasing. Those findings suggest that luxury vehicles continue to be viewed as valuable long-term assets, even as expectations around how they are owned and accessed continue to evolve.
