DroneShield secures $12.5M autonomous vehicle contract

DroneShield (ASX:DRO) executed a $12.5–$13 million agreement to integrate its DroneSentry systems onto unmanned ground vehicles.
This deployment contrasts with the previous year when the firm's technology was restricted to fixed-site installations.
"We are ensuring these platforms operate with full-spectrum awareness," said DroneShield CEO Oleg Vornik.
The company stated this project requires $1.2–$1.5 million in testing and will conclude by November 2026.
Following the announcement, the DroneShield share price was up at $1.88.
Executives stated this contract supports their corporate strategy to expand artificial intelligence applications across 40 international markets.
