ClubSport Formula V3 launched Fanatec introduced the ClubSport Formula V3, a reworked version of its iconic Formula-style steering wheel. The new model is a direct replacement for the Formula V2.5 and features a larger display with Intelligent Telemetry Mode, allowing drivers to switch between layouts such as lap times and deltas, tire temperatures, and other telemetry. The diameter increases to 290 mm, with revised ergonomics suited to a wider range of race cars. Input controls have been updated throughout. The thumb-operated rotary dials now offer increased resistance and push functionality, while the central rotary switch expands to 12 positions. Fanatec Wheel Hub expands compatibility Also launched is the Fanatec Wheel Hub, the first product developed specifically for using third-party USB steering wheels with Fanatec Direct Drive Wheel Bases. It consists of a diecast aluminum adapter plate featuring 6 x 70 mm and 6 x 50.8 mm mounting patterns, and QR2 quick release. While the Podium Hub remains the best option for building a modular steering wheel using Fanatec components, the new Wheel Hub is designed specifically for third-party wheels, enabling a more compact design and a lower price point, increasing flexibility for users building their own simulator setups across multiple hardware brands.
