The French government has selected ChapsVision’s Argonos platform as the foundation of a major national data-processing initiative, highlighting the growing importance of sovereign technologies capable of managing data generated across increasingly connected environments. The award forms part of the OTDH (Heterogeneous Data Processing Tool) project, an innovation partnership led by France’s Directorate General for Internal Security to create a sovereign platform capable of collecting, processing, and analysing vast quantities of heterogeneous data from multiple sources. As states and enterprises expand their use of IoT devices, connected infrastructure, video systems, operational technology, and digital services, the ability to transform large volumes of disparate data into actionable intelligence has become a strategic priority. ChapsVision secured the second and final phase of the programme in June 2026, having already won the first contract stage in late 2024. Together, the awards position the company’s Argonos platform as a key technology underpinning data-driven decision-making across French public-sector organisations. The project reflects a wider trend across Europe, where governments and operators of critical infrastructure are seeking greater control over the platforms used to process sensitive operational and IoT-generated data. Concerns around digital sovereignty, cybersecurity, and dependence on non-European technology providers have intensified as connected systems become increasingly embedded within public services and national infrastructure. Argonos is designed to centralise, prepare, secure, and analyse data regardless of its format or origin. The platform can ingest information from sources including documents, images, video feeds, audio recordings, databases, sensors, and connected systems, creating links between previously siloed datasets. For organisations deploying large-scale IoT environments, such capabilities can help turn raw operational data into insights that support predictive maintenance, situational awareness, resource optimisation, and faster operational decision-making. The platform also incorporates AI capabilities, enabling organisations to deploy AI agents that can assist employees with data analysis, workflow automation, and complex
