Genesis launches Le Mans Ultimate esports series, full-time pro sim racing drive up for grabs

The Genesis Magma Racing Esports Series hopes to find the quickest Le Mans Ultimate drivers later this year with an in-game competition.

The full prize list is to be announced, but one driver will be offered the opportunity to become a full-time GMR Esports Driver for the 2027 Season.

A possible real-world Genesis Magma Racing (GMR) Trajectory Programme opportunity is also under consideration, but remains to be confirmed.

A striking V8-powered machine in the Hypercar category, it was added for free to LMU before the season began, showcasing the close relationship between Genesis and sim racing.

This will now be taken a step further, with the in-game competition and hunt for rising virtual racing talent.
